Public Bus
From the center of Heraklion, head to the central bus station located at 1st of August Square. Look for the bus routes heading towards Knossos. Once you arrive at the Knossos stop, disembark and walk towards the entrance of the Palace of Knossos, which is well-signposted. The Public Park near the palace is located directly adjacent to the entrance.

If you prefer to walk from the center of Heraklion, start at Lion Square (Plateia Liontaria). Head east on 25th August Street until you reach the intersection with Kydonias Street. Turn right and continue straight until you reach the junction with Knosou Street. Turn left onto Knosou Street and follow the signs to the Palace of Knossos.
