Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Heraklion Archaeological Museum, head south on Xanthoudidou Street towards the square. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Pl. Kallergion. Turn right onto Pl. Kallergion. The Statue of El Greco will be on your left side, just a short walk down the street.

  • Walking

    From the central market (Agora), walk south on 1866 Street. After about 5 minutes, you will reach Pl. Kallergion. Turn left and continue walking. The Statue of El Greco will be on your right side within a few minutes.

    If you are at the Venetian Harbor, head east along the waterfront promenade until you reach the junction with 25th August Street. Turn left on 25th August Street, and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Pl. Kallergion. Turn right, and you will find the Statue of El Greco on your left.

    Starting from the Lions Square (Fontana Morosini), walk towards the south end of the square and take the exit onto 25th August Street. Continue straight until you reach Pl. Kallergion, then turn left. The Statue of El Greco will be on your left a short distance down the street.
