Buses to Pylos typically run several times a day, so check the schedule for departure times. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. As you travel, enjoy the scenic views of the Greek countryside. You will arrive at the Pylos Bus Station, which is in the center of Pylos.

Once you arrive at the Pylos Bus Station, exit the station and head towards the main square of Pylos. From the square, take the road leading towards the coast, following signs for the New Castle of Pylos. The castle is about a 15-20 minute walk from the center. As you approach, you will see the castle perched on a hill overlooking the bay.

If you prefer not to walk, you can take a taxi from the Pylos Bus Station to the New Castle of Pylos. Taxis are usually available outside the bus station. The drive should take about 5 minutes. Make sure to show the taxi driver the name 'New Castle of Pylos' if you have any trouble communicating.
