Getting There

Bus
From Kavala, head to the main bus station (Ktel Kavala) located at 2nd of November Street. Purchase a ticket for a bus heading to Xanthi or Komotini. The journey takes approximately 30-45 minutes. Disembark at the Nestos River stop (Nestos ποταμός) along the route.

Walking
After getting off at the Nestos River bus stop, walk towards the riverbank. Follow the signs that guide you to the Nestos Delta National Reserve. It is approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the bus stop to the main entrance of the Delta.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Kavala. Follow the route from the bus station to the riverbank and then continue along the designated cycling paths leading directly to the Nestos Delta entrance. This ride will take about 30 minutes.
