Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the central area of Kalambaka, head towards the main road (Trikalon Street) and walk towards the Kastraki village. Follow the signs for Kastraki and Meteora. The walk is approximately 30 minutes and will take you alongside beautiful views of the rocks. Once you enter Kastraki, continue straight until you reach the main square, then take a left onto the street that leads you out of the village. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to the horse riding center, which is located at Kastraki 422 00.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle in Kalambaka and cycle towards Kastraki. Start by heading down Trikalon Street until you reach the bridge over the river. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you see the signs for Kastraki. The distance is about 3 km and should take around 15-20 minutes. Once in Kastraki, follow the main road until you can see the signs for the horse riding center located at Kastraki 422 00.

  • Local Bus

    From the Kalambaka bus station, you can take a local bus towards Kastraki. Buses run frequently, and the journey will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at Kastraki. Once you disembark, walk straight until you reach the main square, then follow the signs to the horse riding center located at Kastraki 422 00.
