Walking
From the main visitor center in Kalambaka, head towards the pedestrian bridge that crosses the river. Once you cross the bridge, turn left onto the main road, and follow the signs for Meteora. Continue walking along the road until you reach the entrance to the hiking trails leading to the monasteries. Take the path that leads to the Great Meteoron Monastery, which is one of the largest and most famous. After visiting the monastery, continue on the trail that leads up the hill. You will find signs indicating the direction to Point de vue, which is a viewpoint offering stunning vistas of the rock formations and monasteries of Meteora.

If you are starting from the village of Kastraki, begin at the main square and follow the path that leads towards the foothills of Meteora. You can take the well-marked hiking trail that ascends through the pine forest. Keep an eye out for trail markers, which will guide you towards Point de vue. This route will take you through some beautiful natural scenery and offer panoramic views along the way. As you approach the viewpoint, you will notice the stunning rock formations of Meteora come into view, making the hike very rewarding.
