Bus
From Rethymno, head to the KTEL bus station, which is located at 1 G. Papandreou Street. Purchase a ticket to Makrygialos. Buses run several times a day, but it’s best to check the current schedule online or at the station. The journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Makrygialos bus station, you'll need to walk towards the coast, which is about a 15-minute walk.

Walking
Once you arrive in Makrygialos, exit the bus station and head southeast towards the sea. Walk along the main road (Lefkados) that runs parallel to the coast. Continue walking until you reach the beach area, and then follow the shoreline to the east. Keep an eye out for signs leading to Agia Eirini. It is a beautiful spot along the coast, and the walk should take around 20 to 30 minutes from the bus station.
