Start from the Old Town of Rethymno. Head towards the main street, which is called Arkadiou Street. Walk down Arkadiou Street until you reach the waterfront promenade. Turn right onto the promenade and continue walking along the coast until you reach the intersection with Sofokli Venizelou Street. Here, you will see the Venetian Harbor on your left. From this point, continue straight and look for signs indicating the way to Asteri, as Poliou House is located in this area.
