    If you are driving from the Samaria Gorge, exit the park and head towards Chania. Follow the signs for the E65 highway towards Heraklion. Once you reach Heraklion, continue towards Archanes-Asterousia. After approximately 40 km, you will arrive at the village of Archanes. The Monastery of Saint George Epanosifis is located just outside of Archanes. Look for signs pointing to the monastery as you approach the outskirts of the village.
