Walking
If you're starting from the center of Samos town, head towards the main square (Plateia Pythagora). From there, take the road leading towards the port (Vathi). Walk along the waterfront promenade, enjoying the view of the sea and the boats. Continue walking until you reach the ferry terminal. From the ferry terminal, take the path leading towards the old town. Follow the signs to the Virgin Mary Statue, which is located on a hill just outside the town. The hike will take approximately 30-40 minutes uphill, but the scenic views are rewarding.

From the Samos town bus station, take a local bus heading towards Karlovasi. Inform the driver that you want to stop near the Virgin Mary Statue. The bus will take you through beautiful landscapes and small villages. After about 20-30 minutes, ask the driver to let you know when you reach the closest stop to the statue. Once you get off, it's a short walk uphill to the statue itself.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle in Samos town and start your journey towards the Virgin Mary Statue. Follow the coastal road heading northwest towards Karlovasi. This route offers a flat ride for the first part. After about 5 kilometers, you'll see signs directing you towards the statue. The last part will require you to bike uphill, but it's manageable and the views will make it worthwhile. Expect the ride to take around 1-1.5 hours, depending on your pace.
