Discover more about Cetti Bay Overlook

Cetti Bay Overlook is a must-see destination on Guam, providing stunning views of Cetti Bay and the surrounding landscape. As part of Guam's Territorial Seashore Park, the area is a geological delight, revealing the island's volcanic origins. From the overlook, you can see the twin hills of Attelong Acho, formed by underwater volcanic eruptions. To the south, Cocos Island graces the horizon. The coastal area around Cetti Bay has been inhabited by the Chamorro people for around 3,000 years. Latte stones and pottery shards serve as evidence of this long history. The Spanish later established a road system that passed through Cetti Bay, connecting Hagåtña to Umatac. The bay itself is listed on both Guam’s and the National Register of Historic Places. While the overlook is easily accessible, reaching Cetti Bay itself can be challenging. Hiking to the bay requires navigating rocky shores and, depending on the route, attention to tides. Despite the difficulty, Cetti Bay remains a popular destination for those seeking adventure, offering opportunities for fishing and snorkeling.
