    From the center of Huehuetenango, head south on the CA-1 highway. Follow the signs for San Pedro Necta and continue for approximately 30 kilometers. After passing through the town of San Pedro Necta, look for signs directing you to Yulaurel. Turn left onto the road leading to Yulaurel. Continue on this road for about 10 kilometers, and you will reach Laguna Brava Huehuetenango at coordinates 16.0567449, -91.5697484. Parking is available near the site.

    From the central bus terminal in Huehuetenango, take a bus heading towards San Pedro Necta. The fare is typically around 15-20 GTQ. The buses leave frequently, so you should not have to wait long. The journey will take about 45 minutes to an hour. Once you arrive in San Pedro Necta, look for a local 'tuk-tuk' or pick-up truck taxi that can take you to Yulaurel, which should cost approximately 30-50 GTQ.
