Getting There

    From Tikal National Park, exit the park and head southeast on Route 5. Continue for about 30 kilometers. You will pass through the town of Flores; keep an eye out for signs directing you towards Quirigua. Follow the signs until you reach the intersection with Route 9. Turn left onto Route 9 and continue for approximately 50 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Las Viñas. Once in Las Viñas, follow local signs to the Acropolis of Quirigua, which is located at 7X95+FP9.

    From Tikal National Park, you can take a bus from the park entrance to the town of Flores, which is about a 30-minute ride. Once in Flores, find a bus terminal that offers services to Los Amates or Quirigua. The bus ride from Flores to Quirigua takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Be sure to confirm with the bus driver that they will drop you off near the Acropolis of Quirigua.
