Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Castel, head southeast towards the main road, Rue de la Village. Continue along Rue de la Village for about 0.5 miles until you reach the roundabout at the junction with Route de Saumarez. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Route de Saumarez. Continue walking for approximately 0.3 miles. Saumarez Park will be on your left. Look for the park entrance marked with signage and a large gate.

    If you prefer taking public transport, you can catch the bus from the Castel bus stop located near the Castel Church. Look for bus routes that head towards St. Peter Port and ensure the bus stops at Saumarez Park. The bus ride usually takes around 10-15 minutes. Alight at the stop 'Saumarez Park' which is directly outside the park entrance.
