Start your journey at the Forest Parish Church, located on the main road in Forest. From the church, head north on Route de la Croix. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with Route des Plaisants. Turn left onto Route des Plaisants and follow the road as it bends to the right. After about 500 meters, you will come to a fork in the road; keep left and continue on Route des Plaisants. Soon after, you will see signs for Grand Havre. Follow the signs as you walk down the hill towards the beach. The sandy shores of Grand Havre will be on your right as you approach Sandy Hook.

If you prefer to take the bus, start at the nearest bus stop to your location in Forest. You can check the local bus schedule for routes that go towards Grand Havre. A common route is to take the bus towards St. Peter Port and get off at the 'Sandy Hook' stop. From there, it’s a short walk towards the beach. Once you get off, head towards the sandy beach area, and Grand Havre will be in sight.

For those who enjoy cycling, start from the Forest Parish Church and head north on Route de la Croix. Continue for about 1 kilometer. At the junction with Route des Plaisants, turn left. Keep following Route des Plaisants as it curves to the right. After about 500 meters, take the left fork and continue towards Grand Havre, making sure to obey traffic rules. The road will lead you downhill towards Sandy Hook, where you will find the sandy beach of Grand Havre.
