Getting There

  • Metro

    Take Metro Line M3 (Blue Line) from any metro station in Budapest. If you are near Deák Ferenc tér station, you can board there. Travel towards Újpest-Központ and get off at the next stop, which is Arany János utca. Exit the station and walk towards the east on Arany János utca.

  • Walking

    After exiting Arany János utca metro station, continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út. Turn left onto Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út and continue walking for about 500 meters. You will then reach Szent István tér, which will be on your right side. You can’t miss the beautiful square!

  • Tram

    If you're near the tram lines, you can take Tram 2, which runs along the Danube. Board the tram at any nearby stop, and travel towards Jászai Mari tér. Get off at the stop called Kossuth Lajos tér. From there, walk a short distance towards Szent István tér, which should be visible as you approach.

    You can also take Bus 5, 7, or 78 to get closer to Szent István tér. Board the bus at any convenient stop and get off at the stop called 'Kossuth Lajos tér M' (which is right by the Parliament building).
