Getting There

    From the center of Vác, head south on Kossuth Lajos utca towards the Váci Bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the road until you reach the main road (Route 2). Turn left onto Route 2 and continue walking. After about 30 minutes, you will arrive at the train station in Sződliget. Take a train towards Budapest from here.

    Once you are on the train, sit back and enjoy the ride. The train will take you directly to Budapest. Get off at the Batthyány tér station, which is one of the main stops in Budapest. From Batthyány tér, you can either walk or take a bus to reach Gül Baba’s Tomb.

  • Walking

    After exiting the Batthyány tér station, head south towards the Danube River. Continue walking along the river until you reach the iconic Chain Bridge. Cross the bridge and head up to the Buda side. Continue straight on Alagút utca, then turn right onto Fő utca. Follow Fő utca until you reach Mecset utca, where you will find Gül Baba’s Tomb at number 14.
