Walking
From the center of Dalvik, head south on Aðalgata towards the main road (Route 1). Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Turn left onto Route 1 and walk for approximately 3.5 kilometers. You will pass several small farms and scenic views along the way. Keep an eye out for the sign for Laufás, which will indicate your turn-off. After about 3.5 kilometers, turn right onto the road leading to Laufás. The museum will be on your left, and you’ll see the distinctive heritage buildings as you approach.

If you have rented a bicycle, start from the town center and cycle south on Aðalgata. Turn left onto Route 1 after about 500 meters. Follow Route 1 for approximately 3.5 kilometers. Look for the sign marking the turn-off for Laufás, and take the right turn onto the access road. The museum will be on your left. The ride is scenic, so take your time and enjoy the views!
