If you are driving, start from Hveragerði town center. Head northeast on the main road (Route 1) towards Reykjavík. After approximately 1.5 km, turn left onto Route 36. Continue on Route 36 for about 3 km, and then turn right onto Árhólmi. The Reykjadalur Skáli/Lodge will be located at Árhólmi 1, 810 Hveragerði. There is parking available nearby.

To reach Reykjadalur Skáli using public transportation, take the bus from Reykjavík to Hveragerði. Buses are operated by Strætó and depart from the main bus terminal in Reykjavík. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Hveragerði, you can walk to Reykjadalur Skáli by heading northeast on Route 1 for about 1.5 km, then turn left onto Route 36 and continue for 3 km before turning right onto Árhólmi. It’s a roughly 25-minute walk from the bus stop to the lodge.

If you are already in Hveragerði, you can walk to Reykjadalur Skáli/Lodge. Begin at the town center and head northeast on Route 1. After about 1.5 km, turn left onto Route 36 and continue for another 3 km. Turn right onto Árhólmi, and you will find the lodge at Árhólmi 1, 810 Hveragerði. The walk takes approximately 40-50 minutes depending on your pace.
