Walking
From the center of Hveragerdi, head southeast on Suðurvegur street. Continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Route 1 (the Ring Road). Turn left onto Route 1 and walk for approximately 3 kilometers. You will see signs directing you to the Caves of Hella on your left. Follow the signs until you reach the entrance at 851 Hella.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from Hveragerdi's town square and take Suðurvegur street heading southeast. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto Route 1 (the Ring Road). Continue cycling for around 3 kilometers, keeping an eye out for signs to the Caves of Hella on your left. Once you spot the signs, follow them to the entrance at 851 Hella.
Public Transport
From Hveragerdi, walk to the nearest bus stop located near the town square. Take the bus heading towards Hella and stay on the bus for about 10-15 minutes. Disembark at the 'Hella' stop. From there, it's a short walk of about 500 meters to the entrance of the Caves of Hella at 851 Hella. Follow the road signs directing you towards the caves.
