Walking
From the center of Hveragerdi, head northwest on Aðalgata street towards the main intersection. At the intersection, turn right onto the main road, Route 1, and continue walking for about 30 minutes. Look for signs directing you towards Reykjavík. You will pass by beautiful landscapes and possibly some geothermal areas. Once you reach the outskirts of Reykjavík, follow the signs towards the city center. As you approach the city center, keep an eye out for Hlésgata street. Turn left onto Hlésgata and continue until you reach number 1, which is Your Friend In Reykjavik.

Bus
From the Hveragerdi bus stop, take the Strætó bus number 51 towards Reykjavík. The bus will take you directly to the Reykjavík Bus Terminal in about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus terminal, exit and walk towards the city center. Follow the main road, and soon you will turn left onto Hlésgata street. Continue walking until you reach number 1, where Your Friend In Reykjavik is located.

If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from any local rental shop in Hveragerdi. Start by heading northwest on Aðalgata street. After about 15 minutes of cycling, you will reach Route 1. Turn right and continue for another 15-20 minutes. Once you are near Reykjavík, look for signs directing you towards the city center. Follow the main roads until you reach Hlésgata street. Turn left onto Hlésgata, and Your Friend In Reykjavik will be on your right at number 1.
