Walking
If you're starting from the center of Kopavogur, make your way towards the main road called 'Skeidarvogi'. Walk along Skeidarvogi heading west until you reach the intersection with 'Hringbraut'. Turn left onto Hringbraut and continue walking straight. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will see signs directing you towards Seltjarnarnes. Keep walking straight until you reach 'Norðurströnd Trail', where Grótta is located. The trail will lead you directly to the scenic area.

From Kopavogur, head to the nearest bus stop. Take the bus number 1 towards 'Seltjarnarnes'. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Seltjarnarnes' bus stop. From there, walk straight down the road until you see signs for 'Grótta'. It should take you about 10 minutes on foot to reach the trail.
