From any location in Kopavogur, head to the nearest bus stop. You can take Bus Number 1 or 2 towards Reykjavik. Make sure to check the bus schedule, as services may vary depending on the time of day. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'BSI Bus Terminal' in Reykjavik. From BSI, transfer to Bus Number 5 towards Selfoss. The journey will take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Selfoss, you will need to walk approximately 15 minutes to Thingvellir National Park. Head south on Aðalgata street until you reach the roundabout, then take the second exit onto Þjóðvegur (Route 1). Continue straight, and you will see signs for Thingvellir National Park.
