Getting There

Walking
Start from the Harpa Concert Hall located at Austurbakki 2, 101 Reykjavík. Head west along the waterfront to Sæbraut street. Continue walking west until you reach the intersection with the bridge over the river. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto Grótta road which will lead you towards the Grótta Island area. Follow the road until you reach the end where you will find a path leading to the lighthouse on Grótta Island. The walk will take approximately 40-50 minutes.
