Walking
From the center of Selfoss, head northwest on Aðalgata street towards the Selfoss Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue on Þjóðvegur (Route 1) heading west. After about 5 kilometers, look for a sign marking the entrance to Norðurárdalur. Follow the signs for Kroksfoss, which will lead you on a well-marked path to the waterfall.

Catch the local bus (Strætó) from the Selfoss bus station. Look for a bus heading towards Hella or Þorlákshöfn. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Norðurárdalur. Once you get off, follow the walking path indicated on the map for about 2 kilometers to reach Kroksfoss.
