Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the Skaftafell Visitor Center. Head southeast on Route 1 (the Ring Road) towards Jökulsárlón. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 52 kilometers (about 32 miles). You will see signs for Jökulsárlón on your right. There is a parking area where you can leave your car. The Glacier Trips office is located near the lagoon, just a short walk from the parking area.

For public transport, take the bus from the Skaftafell bus stop. Check the current schedule for the bus service to Jökulsárlón, as it may vary by season. The bus journey will take about 1 hour.
