    From Vatnajokull National Park, drive towards the south-east on Route 1. After approximately 30km, turn onto Road F985 towards Fjallsárlón Glacier Lagoon. Continue on this road for about 8km until you reach the parking area for Fjallsjökull. From the parking area, a short walk will lead you to the glacier.
