From Skaftafell, head northwest on Route 1 (Ring Road) towards Jökulsárlón. This drive will take approximately 50 minutes. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. Once you reach the lagoon, there is a parking area. Park your car there and follow the signs to the Viewpoint over Jökulsárlón, which is a short walk from the parking area.
