Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey by heading east on Route 1 (the Ring Road) from any location in The Highlands. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 50 kilometers. Look for the exit towards Route 30 at Selfoss. Take the exit and merge onto Route 30. After about 5 kilometers, you will see signs for Þjóðveldisbærinn, which is The Commonwealth farm. Turn onto the road leading to the farm, and you will arrive at your destination. Parking is available on-site.

Public Transportation
To reach The Commonwealth farm using public transportation, take a bus from the nearest town in The Highlands to Selfoss. Check the local bus schedules to ensure availability. Once you arrive in Selfoss, you can either walk (about 2 kilometers from the bus station) or take a local taxi to Þjóðveldisbærinn. If walking, head southeast on Laugavegur towards Þjóðveldisbærinn. The farm is located just off Route 30, and you will see the signs leading you there.
