If you are traveling by car, start your journey by heading east on Route 1 (the Ring Road) from any location in The Highlands. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 50 kilometers. Look for the exit towards Route 30 at Selfoss. Take the exit and merge onto Route 30. After about 5 kilometers, you will see signs for Þjóðveldisbærinn, which is The Commonwealth farm. Turn onto the road leading to the farm, and you will arrive at your destination. Parking is available on-site.
