Getting There

  • Car

    From Hella, drive north on Route 1 (the Ring Road) for approximately 6 km. Take the exit onto Route 26 towards Þingvellir/Flúðir and continue for about 18 km. Turn left onto Route 32 towards Þingvellir. After about 4 km, turn right onto Route 30 and follow the signs for Caves of Hella. The entrance is located at 851 Hella. Parking is available on-site.

Once you arrive in Hella, you will need to take a taxi or arrange for a local shuttle service to reach Caves of Hella, as public transport does not go directly to the caves.
