If you're driving, start from Ísafjörður. Head west on Route 61 and follow the signs to Hólmavík. After approximately 90 km, you will reach the town of Hólmavík. From there, take Route 62 north towards Drangsnes. After about 30 km, you will reach the ferry terminal in Brjánslækur. Here, you will need to take a ferry to Hornstrandir. The ferry operates seasonally, so check the schedule ahead of time. The ferry ride takes around 1.5 hours and costs approximately ISK 10,000 per person one way.
