If you are driving, start from Heimaey, the largest island in the Westman Islands. Take the ferry from Landeyjahöfn to Heimaey, which takes about 35 minutes. Once you arrive at Heimaey, navigate to the main road and follow Route 44 towards the ferry terminal. After the ferry ride, once you reach the mainland, head east on Route 1 (the Ring Road) for about 45 km. Continue on Route 1 until you see signs for Hella. Once you reach Hella, follow local signs to the Caves of Hella, located at 851 Hella.
