Old Penitentiary Road. The Idaho Botanical Garden will be on your left at 2355 N Old Penitentiary Rd. The entire walk is approximately 30 minutes, covering around 1.5 miles.

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing programs available in downtown Boise. Start at the bike station nearest to you and head east towards 9th Street. Cycle north on 9th Street until you reach State Street. After crossing State Street, continue on 9th Street, which will turn into N Old Penitentiary Road. The Idaho Botanical Garden will be on your left at 2355 N Old Penitentiary Rd. The bike ride will take about 10-15 minutes.
