Car
From any location in the Panhandle region, head towards ID-95 N. If you're starting in Coeur d'Alene, take ID-95 N for about 30 miles until you reach the town of Potlatch. Continue on ID-95 N for another 15 miles, then take the exit for ID-6 W toward Troy. Follow ID-6 W for about 10 miles until you reach the entrance to McCroskey State Park, which is located on the right side of the road. The park is approximately 1.5 miles off of ID-6.
Public Transportation
Public transportation options are limited in the Panhandle region. You can take a Greyhound bus to Moscow, ID, which is the nearest major town to McCroskey State Park. Once in Moscow, you will need to use a taxi service or rideshare app to cover the remaining distance of approximately 20 miles to the park. Be sure to check the Greyhound schedule in advance for ticket prices and availability.
Bicycle
For the more adventurous tourists, cycling to McCroskey State Park is an option. Starting from Moscow, you can take ID-8 E to access scenic backroads leading to the park. The route is approximately 20 miles and will take about 2 hours depending on your cycling speed and fitness level. Make sure to wear a helmet and carry water, as the route can be remote.
