After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Woodfield Mall' stop and transfer to the Metra train. Walk to the nearby Arlington Heights Metra Station and take the Union Pacific Northwest Line train towards 'Ogilvie Transportation Center'. This journey will take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Ogilvie station, exit and walk to the 'Washington/Wells' station to catch the 'Brown Line' towards 'Kimball'. After 10 stops, get off at the 'Sedgwick' station. From there, walk east on North Avenue and then turn right onto North Lake Shore Drive. The International Museum of Surgical Science will be on your left, at 1524 N Lake Shore Dr.

Start at the Arlington Heights Metra Station, located at 45 W. Northwest Highway. Board the Union Pacific Northwest Line train towards 'Ogilvie Transportation Center'. This trip typically takes around 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Ogilvie station, exit and transfer to the 'Brown Line' at the Washington/Wells station. Take the 'Brown Line' towards 'Kimball' and ride for 10 stops. Get off at the 'Sedgwick' station. After exiting the station, walk east on North Avenue for a couple of blocks, then turn right onto North Lake Shore Drive.
