Walking
If you are in downtown Joliet, start at the Joliet Public Library. Head south on Ottawa Street towards Jefferson Street. Turn left onto Jefferson Street and continue until you reach McDonough Street. Turn right and walk until you reach the intersection with Chicago Street. At Chicago Street, turn left and follow it as it curves. Continue walking straight on Chicago Street until you reach the intersection with Collins Street. Cross Collins Street and continue walking straight. You will need to navigate along Collins Street until you reach the area near the Potawatomi Village Historic Site.

Public Transport
From Joliet Union Station, take the Pace Bus Route 501 towards Rockdale. Get off at the 'Collins St & Maple St' stop. From there, walk north on Collins Street until you reach the Potawatomi Village Historic Site, which will be on your left. A single ride on Pace Bus is $2.00.

Car
If you are traveling by car, start by getting onto I-55 N from your current location in Northern Illinois. Continue on I-55 N for approximately 30 miles. Take exit 250B for I-80 W toward Rock Island. Merge onto I-80 W and drive for about 8 miles. Take exit 130A for Larkin Ave toward Joliet. Continue on Larkin Ave for about 1.5 miles, then turn left onto W Jefferson St. After about 1 mile, turn right onto N Raynor Ave. Continue for another 0.5 miles, and you will find Potawatomi Village Historic Site on the left at the intersection of N Raynor Ave and W Cass St. Parking is available along the street. Metered on-street parking is enforced Monday-Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
