From Matthiessen State Park, exit the park and head southeast on IL-178 S. Continue for approximately 5 miles until you reach the junction with IL-71. Turn left onto IL-71 E and follow it for about 3 miles. Merge onto I-39 N via the ramp to Ottawa. Continue on I-39 N for about 4 miles, then take exit 54 for IL-71 E toward Oglesby. After approximately 1 mile, turn left onto E 873 Rd. The Starved Rock State Park Visitor Center will be on your right at 2678 East 873 Road, Oglesby, IL 61348. Parking is available on-site.
