From Palatine Station, take the Metra Union Pacific Northwest Line towards Chicago. The train ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the Ogilvie Transportation Center. Once you exit the station, head east on W Madison St, then turn left onto N Canal St. Walk north to Wacker Dr, and turn right. The Lyric Opera of Chicago is located at 20 N Wacker Dr.

From the Palatine Village Hall, catch the Pace Bus Route 696 heading towards the Woodfield Mall. Get off at the Woodfield Mall stop and transfer to Bus Route 606 towards the Elgin Transportation Center. Ride for about 30 minutes and disembark at the bus stop near Ogilvie Transportation Center. From there, walk east on W Madison St, turn left onto N Canal St, and then turn right onto Wacker Dr. The Lyric Opera is at 20 N Wacker Dr.
