Getting There

Walking
Start your journey from the Darjeeling Mall (Chowrasta), which is a popular spot in the town. Head south from the Mall along the main road, which is known as Gandhi Road. Continue walking straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the junction of Gandhi Road and the road to the Japanese Temple. Look for signs pointing towards the Peace Pagoda. Follow the signs and take a left onto the road leading towards the pagoda. The path is slightly uphill, so be prepared for a bit of a climb. After a short walk of about 10-15 minutes, you will see the Peace Pagoda on your right.

If you are starting from the Darjeeling Railway Station, exit the station and head towards the main road. Walk along the road towards Chowk Bazaar. Once you reach Chowk Bazaar, continue straight until you find the road that leads to the Japanese Temple. Follow this road, and after about 20-25 minutes of walking uphill, you will arrive at the Peace Pagoda.
