    From Darjeeling town, the most common way to reach Sunrise View Point is by hiring a taxi. Taxis can be booked from various taxi stands or through travel agencies. A round trip to Tiger Hill, including stops at Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery, typically costs around INR 2,500 for a small reserved cab. Shared taxis are also available for approximately INR 200 per person. Be prepared for a 40-minute drive along the narrow, winding Senchal Road. During peak season, traffic congestion is common, so it's advisable to start early, around 3:30 AM, to reach the summit by 4:15 AM. After reaching the parking area, there is a short uphill walk to the viewing platform.

    For adventurous travelers, trekking to Sunrise View Point is an option. The 11 km trek from Darjeeling town takes approximately 2 hours at a moderate pace. The route follows the Hill Cart Road to Ghum, then ascends via the Senchal Road. While challenging, the trek offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Ensure you have appropriate footwear and clothing, and start early to reach the summit before sunrise. Note that walking up the Senchal road is steep.
