Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from M.G. Marg, the main market area in Gangtok. Head towards the north end of M.G. Marg and look for the junction that leads to the National Highway 10 (NH10). Cross the road and follow the signs that say 'Vishal Gaon'. Continue straight on this road for about 1.5 kilometers, keeping an eye out for local shops and eateries along the way. As you approach Vishal Gaon, you will notice the road incline slightly. Keep walking until you reach View Point Road. Turn left onto View Point Road and walk a short distance until you see the Namnang View Point on your right. The walk should take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on your pace.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From M.G. Marg, you can take a local bus heading towards Vishal Gaon. Look for buses that are either labeled 'Vishal Gaon' or ask the conductor if it stops at Namnang View Point. The bus will take you closer to the area, and you can get off when you reach the Vishal Gaon stop. From there, it's a short walk of about 10 minutes. Head down View Point Road, and keep an eye out for the signage leading to Namnang View Point, which will be on your right.
