Getting There

Walking
From the Ridge in Shimla, head towards the Mall Road and walk straight until you reach the end of the Mall Road. Continue walking downhill towards the Lakkar Bazaar area. Once you reach Lakkar Bazaar, follow the signs towards the Jakhoo Temple. As you approach the temple, keep following the road that leads towards Kufri. After about 2 kilometers, you will find a fork in the road; take the right path that leads towards NH 5. Continue walking along this road for another 1.5 kilometers. You will see signage indicating Green Valley Photo Point on your left. The photo point is situated along the highway, offering stunning views of the valley.

Bus
Start at the Shimla Old Bus Stand. Board a local bus heading towards Kufri. The buses are frequent, so you shouldn't have to wait long. After about 30 minutes on the bus, get off at the Kufri stop. From Kufri, you can either walk or take a shared taxi to Green Valley Photo Point, which is approximately 2 kilometers away. If you choose to walk, head down the road towards NH 5, and you will find the photo point on your left.

From any point in Shimla, make your way to the Mall Road and look for shared taxis (also known as 'share cabs') that are heading towards Kufri. The fare is usually nominal, and it takes about 20 minutes to reach Kufri. Once in Kufri, you can either walk or take another shared taxi to Green Valley Photo Point, which is about 2 kilometers away. If you walk, follow the signs towards NH 5, and you will soon see the photo point on your left.
