You'll reach the entrance of Bandipur National Park after approximately 2 hours of driving. Make sure to stop at the entrance gate to pay the entry fee, which is around ₹300 for Indians and ₹1500 for foreigners. The park is open from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM and 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

For those relying on public transportation, take a KSRTC (Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation) bus from Mysore to Ooty. Buses depart regularly from the Mysore Bus Stand. The journey takes about 3 hours and costs around ₹150-₹200. Once you reach Ooty, you can hire a taxi or take a local bus towards Bandipur National Park, which is approximately 15 km from Ooty.
