Car
From Morgan-Monroe State Forest, head northwest on State Road 37 (IN-37 N) for approximately 15 miles. Continue onto I-69 N via the ramp to Indianapolis. Merge onto I-70 W toward Indianapolis. Take exit 83A for Michigan St. Continue on Michigan St for about 0.5 miles, and the Indiana War Memorial & Museum will be on your left at 55 E Michigan St, Indianapolis, IN 46204. Parking is available nearby, but may incur a fee depending on the location.

Public Transportation
To use public transportation, you will first need to travel to Bloomington, IN. From Morgan-Monroe State Forest, take a local taxi or rideshare service to the Bloomington Transit Center. Once at the Transit Center, take Route 2 or Route 6 towards Indianapolis. After about an hour, you will arrive at the Indianapolis bus terminal. From there, it’s a short walk or a taxi ride (approximately 0.5 miles) to the Indiana War Memorial & Museum at 55 E Michigan St. Be sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time for the most accurate timings.
