If you are starting from the Richmond Visitor Center located at 407 N 2nd St, head north on N 2nd St towards E Broad St. Continue walking for approximately 0.3 miles (about 6-7 minutes). You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. Once you reach the intersection of N 2nd St and E Marshall St, the Maggie L Walker National Historic Site will be on your left at 600 N 2nd St.

From the nearest bus stop, which is located at 407 N 2nd St, you can take the GRTC Bus Route 1, heading towards the Downtown area. Stay on the bus for 3 stops and get off at the stop named 'Broad St & 2nd St'. From there, walk north on N 2nd St for about 0.1 miles (2 minutes) to reach the Maggie L Walker National Historic Site at 600 N 2nd St.
