If you're starting from the Petersburg Visitor Center at 100 River Street, head east along River Street until you reach Sycamore Street. Turn left on Sycamore Street and continue north until you reach E Washington Street. Turn right on E Washington Street and follow it to the intersection with E Franklin Street. Turn left onto E Franklin Street. Continue walking for approximately 20 minutes, and you'll find the Stewart-Lee House at 707 E Franklin St, Richmond, VA 23219.

From Petersburg, walk to the nearest bus stop on S Sycamore St. Take the GRTC bus 1 or 2 towards Richmond. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes, and get off at the stop on Broad St & 7th St. From there, walk east along Broad Street until you reach 7th Street. Turn left on 7th Street and walk until you reach E Franklin Street, then turn right. The Stewart-Lee House will be on your left at 707 E Franklin St.
