If you're traveling by car from anywhere in The Lakes Region, head towards U.S. Route 20. Once on U.S. Route 20, continue west until you reach the intersection with Indiana State Route 49. Turn south on Route 49. After approximately 5 miles, take the exit for U.S. Route 12. Follow U.S. Route 12 until you see signs for Indiana Dunes National Park. Keep an eye out for Mineral Springs Road, where you'll turn left. Chellberg Farm is located at 709-747 N Mineral Springs Rd, Porter, IN 46304. There is no entrance fee for the park, but parking may be limited during peak hours.

For those using public transportation, start by taking the South Shore Line train from South Bend or Chicago to the Portage/Ogden Dunes station. From the station, you can catch the local bus (Lakeshore Public Transit) Route 12 towards the Indiana Dunes. Get off at the closest stop to Indiana Dunes National Park. From there, you may need to walk approximately 1 mile to reach Chellberg Farm. Be sure to check bus schedules as they can vary, and consider the cost of a train ticket, which will depend on your starting location.
