If you have access to a car, start your journey from Bukit Lawang. Head south on Jalan Bukit Lawang towards Jalan Lintas Sumatera, which is the main road. After approximately 3 kilometers, look for a sign pointing towards Rumah Galuh, Sei Bingai. Turn right onto this road and continue driving for about 10 kilometers. You will see signs for Air Terjun Teroh-Teroh Petar as you approach the area. Be aware that parking may be limited near the waterfall, so plan accordingly.

Public Transportation
To reach Air Terjun Teroh-Teroh Petar using public transportation, you can take a local minibus (angkot) from Bukit Lawang to Sei Bingai. The fare is usually around IDR 20,000. Once you arrive in Sei Bingai, you will need to hire a motorcycle taxi (ojek) to take you the remaining 5 kilometers to the waterfall. Negotiate the fare with the driver, which should be around IDR 15,000 to IDR 25,000, depending on your negotiation skills. Make sure to confirm that the driver knows the way to Air Terjun Teroh-Teroh Petar.
