To reach the snorkeling point at Gili Islands, start your journey by taking a public boat from Bali or Lombok to Gili Indah. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at Gili Trawangan, you can either rent a bicycle or take a horse-drawn cart (cidomo) to reach the port area where you can catch a local boat to the snorkeling point in Gili Indah.

After arriving at Gili Trawangan, rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops near the harbor (prices are usually around IDR 50,000 for a half-day). Cycle towards the main road leading to the harbor area where local boats can be found. This is a scenic ride and will take about 10-15 minutes.
