Car
If you are driving from Rantepao, the capital of Tana Toraja, take the Jl. Poros Makale road towards Makale. After approximately 14 km, turn right onto Jl. Toraja – Makale. Continue for about 23 km until you reach the town of Mengkendek. From Mengkendek, follow the signs towards Palipu, which is about 7 km away. Keep an eye out for the location marked VW73+H8G, which is your destination. Parking may be available nearby.

From Rantepao, you can take a public minibus (angkot) heading to Makale. This journey usually takes around 30 minutes and costs approximately IDR 30,000. After reaching Makale, you will need to transfer to another angkot that goes to Mengkendek. Once in Mengkendek, find a local angkot that heads to Palipu.
